A Letter from the Founder

Dear customer,

I am a career woman who loves life and food. Busy is the keyword in my daily life, and it seems to have become a habit for me.

Unfortunately, I have contracted the Coronavirus more than once due to the widespread epidemic. It was a tough time, but it came with silver linings. I started to constantly research and look for healthy foods, staying clear of fast foods and all kinds of drinks that could be harmful to my body and replacing them with green tea and floral teas with no additives and no fragrance. In the process, I fell in love with green tea, tried many different green teas and learned the tea ceremony. I eventually found the best quality tea sources and created my current brand ODAYA.

I can't wait to share these great products with all my tea-loving friends around the world to let more people experience this refreshing, healthy taste that belongs to nature.

The four principles of tea ceremony, “Wa (harmony), Kei (Respect), Sei (Purity) and Jaku(Tranquility)", which were proposed by the originator of the Japanese tea ceremony, are the main concepts of the Japanese tea ceremony today. I want to promote and share the thinking of healthy tea drinking by serving Japanese tea, and creating a platform for the communication of tea culture that is closely linked to modern values. To create a new tea brand for the 21st century that preserves traditional Japanese culture but does not lose touch with modern times. Also, to create a new brand of tea for the 21st century that preserves traditional Japanese culture but is not out of touch with modernity.

Today I am still on the way to learning about tea. After learning about Japanese tea culture, I also started to learn about the vast and profound Chinese tea culture as well as the different tea cultures of many countries such as England, America, France, Lan and Thailand. I know that this path will be long, but I also believe that everything is the best experience, and I will gain more valuable experience and wealth along the journey.

My journey of sharing tea will never stop, just like the distant tea culture attached to the tea soup. Welcome to taste and buy our high-quality tea, and pay attention to our tea culture sharing activities.

Thank you all!
